In order to avoid the development of the epidemic and the development the immigration of SARS-CoV-2 infected people, the Government of Viet Nam adopts the following precautionary measures from 13 March 2020:

1. Temporary close the immigration offoreigners, including Vietnamese original holding foreign passports, who travelled from or through the UK and Schengen area within 14 days before.

2. Temporary stop issuing visa on arrival at all border gates in Viet Nam. 

The above-mentioned measures will come into effect from 12:00 on 15 March 2020 and they will not apply to people holding diplomatic and official passports.
