In response to the timely prevention and effective control of the Covid-19 pandemic, on July 14, 2021, Ministry of Health issued Official Letter 5599/BYT-MT highlighting the following:
1. Reduction in quarantine duration from 21 days to 14 days for F1 subjects and travelers (except for those entering on work visa for less than 14 days quarantining in accordance with other regulations of the Government, Covid-19 Prevention National Committee and the Ministry of Health), continue to monitor health at home/accommodation for the next 14 days. Strictly following quarantine guidelines, carefully monitoring and reporting any symptoms to prevent the disease from spreading to the community.
2. Regarding F1 Home Quarantine In Preliminary Phase: Temporary instructions to home quarantine to contain the Covid-19 epidemic for F1 subjects so that the local authority can assess the situation and have preventative measures accordingly.
Subjects: (i) close contacts of confirmed cases (F1); people living in the same household as F1 are isolated with F1 at home; people who directly care for and support F1 are isolated with F1 at home; (ii) Those who are in concentrated isolation for a full 07 days, whose PCR test results are negative on the 7th day for SARS-CoV-1 are transferred to home isolation.
Time: Medical isolation at home for 14 consecutive days from the date of starting isolation. Particularly, those who have been isolated for 07 days will continue to isolate at home for 07 days. After medical isolation, continue to monitor health for the next 14 days.
