Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and to protect tourists’ safety during this period, currently all international travellers with tourist visas are required to enter Vietnam through travel tours provided by Vietnamese travel agencies.
Apart from your passport and a signed visa application, extra documents are required to be submitted to get your tourist visa issued, including:

Reservation of a return flight ticket (please avoid changing your planned flight tickets);

Your actual travel itinerary in Vietnam;

Reservation of the hotel you are staying at (if you do not book the hotel through your Vietnamese travel agencies, it is recommended that you should choose 4 or 5-star hotels);

Medical or travel insurance that covers Covid-19 treatment. Minimum cover of
10,000 USD; -
Contact details of your Vietnamese travel agency.
Once all required documents are fully submitted, the expected processing time for your visa application is 5 working days.
Please note that currently only 1-month single entry tourist visa is available.
