H.E. Mr. NGUYEN Phu Trong, Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, passed away on July 19, 2024 at the age of 80.

The state mourning for Mr. NGUYEN Phu Trong will be ordered on July 25 and 26, 2024.

A public book of condolence is available at the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
